After much thought, I decided in 2017 to go into knifemaking full time. My channel continued to focus on custom knife reviews, but since I had additional content to add with shop videos as well.

Taking instruction from my mentor, Jerry Moen over these last few months, I’ve found that I truly love doing this, and sometimes can’t sleep at night, waiting to get back out to the shop and do more work. I’m at the very beginning of my journey, and have still so much to learn. Each new build presents new challenges, and new mistakes to learn from, and I enjoy every bit of it.

Guidance and support from makers like Jerry, Loyd McConnell, Dan Sullivan (DSK Tactical), Shane Magnussen (Scorpion 6 Knives), Doc Shiffer, Mike Stewart (Ekim Knives), Todd Begg, Collin Meyer (Rad Knives), Todd Heeter and so many others have helped me immensely and I am forever grateful… even for the tiniest bit of advice. You can visit my Instagram to see what models and variations I am offering.
